Wavy Hair..Please!

So...I have really straight hair and I've always wished it was curly..
My mom and sister both have curly hair and I've always been so jealous!
In like 5th grade I even begged my mama to let me get a perm but she wouldn't let me. So for years I've been trying to figure out how to make my hair do the "scrunched" look that everyone does when they don't feel like fixing their hair or the "beach waves".

NOTHING would work!

So this week I think I finally figured out a way!
I french braided my hair wet and let it dry over night. In the morning I took it down and put some gel in it and it worked pretty good!

Do yall have any tips on how to do it?
I would LOVE to hear them!

  5. I don't even think I knew what a perm was in 5th grade! Luckily my hair curls aaaalmost perfectly but the only problem is that it only does this in horrible humidity! So my blessing is also a curse because I can't stand to have my hair sticking to my neck in the heat! Other than that my ponytail curls up at the bottom by itself oddly! Love your new trick though! Too cute!

  6. Cute!
I used to have the same problem, but after I cut 12 inches off my hair and started getting it thinned, it started getting pretty wavy while I slept at night. You can also try using mousse and a diffuser :)
